Sarah Ferry Duffy

This photo shows Sarah. She married John Duffy, and lived her life in Donegal, raising a large family of eight. At first, John and Sarah lived in Ramelton, then in Letterkenny. They moved to what was then the New Town of Letterkenny across the Swilly River from the old town.

In 1973, Sarah had a flourishing garden in the sideyard of her house. She won the Letterkenny "Kitchen Garden" award that year. She is with her nephew, Joe Ferry, her brother, Joe's son.
