AnnouncementsCHESTNUT HILL - SUMMER I SESSION, 2009 April 28, 2009 Welcome Chestnut Hill Students to Human Behavior and the Social Environment. Bookmark/Favorite this page. It will be useful to you to keep track of our coursework, assignments, readings and tests during the time of the course. This is a hybrid course - part of the instructional hours are in class gathering (Tuesday evenings for the next eight weeks). A substantial part of the course time will be spent in field observations and internet assignments. The fieldwork/internet assignments are designed so that you can tend to them at your convenience between class gatherings. But you will need to find time each week to complete those assignments, as they can not be held over to the following week. Each week's work must be completed before the start of the next class). This site (www.tenebrae.org/coursework/hsbe ) will be available to you 24/7 during the time of the course. Check here for announcements, calendar of classes, some articles that will be assigned, and for details of assigments each week. Get comfortable with using the asynchronous "discussion board" ('asynchronous' just means that we will not all be online at the same time -unlike chat rooms or instant messaging). I will expect you to make three postings each week - one will be your own observation/analysis, the other two will be briefer postings responding to two of your classmates' observations/analysis.
