An Cloch na Garen
The stone that doesn't move
marks the tides,
is on the shore,
is in the sea.
The first line translates the title. It is a rock
in the sea near Inis Bo Finne that emerges as the tide falls. The
fisherman use it to note the state of the tide. They are wary when
it
is
submerged, and wary near it when it is not.
